• Puts a human face on homelessness, hunger and poverty by giving  people who have experienced homelessness and food insecurity the opportunity  to share their experiences with the community;

  • Dispel myths & stereotypes of people experiencing homelessness;

  • Create a dialogue between people experiencing homelessness & the housed community;

  • Educate the community about  homelessness including the lack of affordable & accessible housing, mental health issues, substance addiction, domestic violence, gentrification, unemployment and the criminalization of homelessness

  • Educate the community about ways they can advocate to end and prevent homelessness in our community
